Emack & Bolio's Ice Cream

We decided to try this place when the line for our favorite place was 40 people deep. We got there and there were two groups ahead of us and no one behind us. I asked if I could try a sample of the sugar-free butter pecan and the server said because it’s summer they don’t do samples. There was no one else in the place at that time. So I decided to try it anyway, and if you’re trying to cut out sugar, it’s not a bad substitute. My husband got the coconut almond bar and enjoyed it. Ice cream has become ridiculously expensive and the bill came to $15 and we each got one single scoop in a cup, no toppings. They only accept cash. As far as the size of the place, it was nice outside. There is only one table inside. I’ve had better ice cream, even though the tagline for this place is for the ice

Quality ice cream spot on the Cape. Helpful and patient employees, and an alright array of flavors. Definitely a little bit cramped, but solid ambiance and outdoor seating. Cash only (per usual on the Cape), but there is an ATM. Prices are very high. Not the best spot to go to, but if it is close, it is a decent option.

Our favorite ice cream stop on the Cape. I like that the home made flavors are different from the usual offerings at other places. That staff is always nice. Especially Carol. And the lines are not as long as other places. There’s nice seating outside as well.

We’ve gone 3 nights in a row at this point. Staff is friendly and they have lots of seating. Good ice cream, I recommend!

I’ve been coming to this location since I was 10 years old. We love it and are always happy with the flavors and service. We did try the extremely busy newer place across the road, we were not impressed and will keep our ice cream spot firmly with the little white house and evening lights that feel like home.
