Elegant Cuizines Restaurant

Enjoyed a dinner at this small restaurant with West African-influenced food. It's a family affair: Mom cooks, Dad bartends and manages, daughter is a waitress. Very pleasant people who made the meal itself more enjoyable. The food was good, and there were plenty of vegetarian and vegan options for the vegetarians in our party. Veggie rolls and turkey sliders were tasty appetizers. The salmon was a little overcooked but flavorful. The lavender cake dessert was interesting—a one-time experience, IMHO, but worth trying. The portions were good-sized, so we were able to take some home. The wines were reasonably priced. They do have a happy hour. (And they have a cheaper take-out menu posted on the door, see photo.) Simply an AMAZING experience. The ambience was welcoming and soothing. The service was top notch. The food was WOW!!!… both in taste and aesthetics. The chef had the opportunity to come out and visit with us and it was a joy. I would recommend this place not only for delicious food but the feeling of walking away as if you have had the most relaxing experience. As one of my friends said, “ I feel like I just had a massage”. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Had a wonderful fancy vegan meal! The whole experience was fabulous start to finish. The vegan chicken was my favorite but the egg rolls with jack fruit were amazing too! The vegan crab cake was delicious! Will definitely be back. The owners Charles and Teresa were so kind and friendly. Great date night.

We arrived for dinner service around 6pm on a Saturday and was seated immediately (there was only other patron at the time). The space is quaint with approximately 8-10 small tables that are combined for larger parties. After we ordered our drinks, we were presented with a VIP-style hand washing experience, with a wonderfully fragranced warm soapy solution in a teapot like vessel. The warm solution was poured over our hands with a wooden bowl to catch the runoff. This was a small gesture that set such a positive tone for the rest of our meal. When I tell you this some of the best food I have had in a long time! The food was seasoned to perfection. This husband and wife team are simply amazing and so kind. We celebrated our Founders Day here for our sorority and we could not have picked a better place. The Chef even made us a special dessert celebrating our Founders day ..so sweet! I had the Jerk Brussels sprouts there and to go. Also the mouth watering Vegan jerk crab cakes. For dessert had "the Josie" which is a delicious pineapple upside-down cake but better! You should run not walk to this hidden gem. They have take out too. Have mercy!
