El Plato Latino Food Truck

Lucky that we just happened to be in this area and I saw this, because I just wanna say... WOW! I like to write a review when something is good and this was exceedingly delicious! My son and i couldnt get enough. I ordered a beef empanada and Pollo Guisado. I was expecting it to be good based on previous reviews. But being that I have grown up around this food my whole life and this really blew me away says a lot. Every bite had soo much flavor and the chicken was tender and all good not chewy just perfect. The owners were very nice people will definitely be back any chance I can !

Hate to say it not gonna lie probably the best arroz gandules I’ve ever had and same with the pernil, next level. Beat my expectations, Best Puerto Rican food in Nj hands down! the amarillos were amazing as well. And sweetest lady at the counter 10/10

This was my first time visiting this place, been wanting to visit for over a year. So glad I finally made it. Was a pleasure meeting Frank the owner, who was so nice to talk to. I ordered pork chops with Spanish rice, tostones, alcapurria and bacaloa with yuca and white rice. We all loved it at home. Best wishes to this business!!

Este lugar hace comida muy rica. Nos encantaron las alcapurrias, la carne guisada esta muy buena aunque solo tibia. Las frituras estaban calientes perfectas, acabadas de freir (comimos empanadillas y un relleno de papa que el dueño fue tan amable de obsequiarnos). This place has really delicious food, we do recommend it well. The owner is nice and even gifted us a relleno de papa as first timers. The alcapurrias are huge, definitely worth the price and tasting. The portions are generous, keep in mind the platters are $20 so he gives you food to justify the price (mostly). This is a food truck, but he does have a plastic table to eat at. Frituras are $5 as of today, the platters $20. It is far for us to go often but we will consider returning especially for the alcapurrias (maybe h

My guy in the truck is not only a cool dude… HE CAN COOK ! Went there today and got a platter for me and my wife and it sent me back to the island. I even got out the car and shook his hand because the food was that good. 10 out of 10 . Stop by it’s worth it .
