El Parral Mexican Restaurant

This is one of the better Mexican restaurants in this area. I've ate here several times and I have yet to be disappointed. The place has lots of parking and seating options. Staff was friendly and kept me updated while I waited for my order. Food was delious and portions were huge. Price wasn't bad either.

Great time at Dinner last night. There were 3 of us and we all ordered something different. Two ordered something new and we're pleased with their choices. I ordered one of my favorites, Enchaladas Verde, with shredded chicken, I also like the Enchaladas with grilled shrimp. My other favorite is Arrozo Con Pollo. My meal was delicious and perfect in every way. The waiter did an excellent job of getting our orders filled and delivered, kept our drinks full and made sure our needs were met. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and is clean and inviting. Been there many times. Highly recommend it.

So I visited El Parral from out of town about 9 PM. It took a while for the bartender to come and make me a drink. He didnt have Grand Marnier for my Cadillac Margarita and only had gran gala. He brought me some chips and salsa but the salsa was runny so I didnt eat it. However the buffalo shrimp were good but they only had ranch dressing for me to dip the shrimp in with the ken-s ranch packets. I didnt like that. I am not going back. Imma try Santana's tonight. I was very disappointed in the service because I had been here before and the food and service was alot better. Also, fyi.. they premake the drinks which I dont like.

These guys really know how to make a night out on the town well worth it! Food is always amazing and the drinks, SPOT ON! Let’s just say you won’t be leaving here hungry or walking in a single file line, if you know what I mean 😉 🤣. Amazing service from wonderful people. This is our go to place in Martinsville Va.

Usually I don’t complain because I get it. But after tonight, I got a little annoyed. I ordered my food at 6:44p as a to go order. I go to the restaurant at 7:34. The lady on the phone told me it would be 35 minutes. So I figured they were gonna be busy. I got there, my food wasn’t ready & I waited another 35-40 minutes inside the restaurant until I got my food. If I knew it would’ve been an hour & a half before my food was ready I would’ve planned accordingly or went somewhere else. I was just so irritated.
