El Palenque

$1 tacos! Do I even need to say more?! When we went in here the lady at the counter didn’t speak English but she still did her best to give us great service. She called a translator over the phone so that we could order and ask questions. We ate there and she gave us chips and salsa. Plus there is a salsa bar for the tacos. We will be back for more tacos for sure

Great, great food. Very tasty. Tacos when not on special are $3 each but are double tortillas with a good amount of fillings. It’s an old subway location and looks exactly like it still, but it works. The lady running the show was very nice and let me attempt to speak broken Spanish :) Gracias!

The lady that works there. I believe she’s the owner and she’s very kind genuine really respectful and really nice and she serves her food with kindness. Respect and her food is wonderful. I love the taste. I love the way that she puts it on the plate very inviting to eat Very tasty. It taste great and the atmosphere is wonderful. You can look out to Main St., she’s really nice

If you are looking for Mexican food that is more authentic than Santiago's and Sancho's, come here. This location brings back the same taste and authenticity I had when eating in Mexico. El Palenque deserves more business.

It's always empty when I've gone. I tried this place twice. First time it was such a bland plain burrito I told myself I wouldn't go back. But I wanted to try again. Second time I got a smothered burrito again very plain not much flavor and she left a bunch of wax paper wraped up inside the burrito that I ended up eating most of it. You will also need to know and understand a bit of Spanish as the owner does not speak English.
