El Mexiquense Grill

Best tacos anywhere around Utah Valley. I come here once or twice a week and have for years. Always excellent. All their taco meat fillings are properly seasoned and flavorful unlike some other “street taco” places and trucks I’ve tried around the area. Their tortillas are freshly cooked and the salsas are fresh made and delicious. I usually get tacos, especially the excellent tacos al pastor, lengua, or carnitas, but the steak and guacamole burrito is a banger also. Very friendly service and a good clean atmosphere.

We came and got the fish taco, carne asada taco, carne asada combo, horchata, and mango pina. I loved the fish taco it had a good flavor and the batter wasn’t overly thick on the fish. The carne asada taco was also very good the meat was a little dry but still good. The mango pina was good but towards the end I was getting more chucks which are not my favorite. The carne asada combo had cactus that was fun to try and over all was good. Only down fall was one end was tough and had a some fat and tendon pieces in it. The refried beans had more of an earthy taste which was really good. The horchata was amazing. We also tried the gabacha salsa was yummy. We also tried the tomatillo sauce had a light kick to it. The habanero sauce had a stronger kick but was good. Overall really enjoyed coming

Love this spot! It's rare to find a Mexican spot outside of CA that really does it right but this place nails it. Two of my kids live within 5 minutes of it and they loved it immediately and will likely eat there regularly. My son in law grew up in CA and misses this stuff and he seems to be delighted that he can get it right down the street. I live in NV but I visit a lot so I'll be stopping by any time I'm in town. Great food, service and ambiance!

I wasn't expecting much but wow! Both my shrimp and fish taco were amazing. I was really surprised with the flavor of the tilapia taco. Wish we got more chips for the salsa bar though. Even my wife loved her tacos. Took a bit of time for the food to come out, longer than expected. I'll be back though. I also want to ad the gal at the register knew what foods were gluten free.

Happened upon this place recently and we were pleasantly surprised by the food here. Really solid Mexican food! Servings were good size, good salsa and chips (we like the red one best), and everything is fresh. Very happy with this one. One thing I would like is a slightly larger chips serving to go with our meals and larger salsa cups.
