Customer Reviews
I ate here 2 days in a row and both times were great. The first time was takeout and the second was done in. The food comes out in about 5 minutes and has good size portions. The prices are great. It has great flavor and it has a nice sting of spiciness to it. This place also has the perfect Mexican restaurant atmosphere right down to the music.
Our waitress was very helpful she brought over out breakfast of Chorizo con Juevos (awesome)and Eggs not your typical greasy chorizo it was the most flavorful and no grease residue or aftertaste that usually stays with you all day. Eggs Rachancheros / green sauce that were cooked perfect. As for the atmosphere it's a Bar , Mexican rough apparently the fights are mostly in the men's bathroom.. beat up..🤠 I will return for a different dish to try out next time. Enjoy!
Food is very authentically delicious, the service is amazing I’ve been coming here for years and have even developed friendships with the waitress. If your looking for good food and service try El Maguey out. 10/10
Delicious yet unassuming place. Not that u would know but seems quite authentic. The menudo was amazing and at 9 the place turned into a karaoke bar.
It was ok. The chips reminded me of a Dorito without the seasoning. The chicken inside the quesadilla was a little hard in some spots (like overcooked). He did not like the chimichanga at all. It was loaded with beans and super wet inside then smothered in a tomato sauce he didn't care for. The rice was good. Portions were good. Service was good. They had people singing live for Friday night but had the speakers way too loud and the sound was really off. Place wasn't super clean. I guess it's what we expected for a Pontiac restaurant but we'd prefer a different Mexican restaurant in the area next time.
