El Jefe Restaurant

I ordered carnita (pulled pork) burrito with red sauce, with side dish of sour cream and guacamole. Glass of ice water. I have had red sauce from all over the country, East Coast to West Coast. Tried all the red sauce or crap in a jar in grocery stores through out the country. The red sauce was the best at this restaurant in Pahrump NV. It's funny you find the best in towns you would have never expected. The sauce was full of flavor, you can taste the peppers, the earthyness and it was this thick sauce. Red sauce elsewhere, watery, salty and some vinegary. Not this sauce! The waitress says she makes it in-house. She needs to bottle this up and would love to see it on the shelf. This sauce would be great for enchiladas, tamales and wet burritos. Even as Taco sauce. The service

We came for the first time today and had the fish taco special and it was great with margaritas 🤤 the service was great, the prices are high and low depending what you want. All in all it was wonderful thank you. Well we came again and I posted 3 new pictures and this time I had flautaus he had steak with onions and shrimp WOW thank you again el Jefe

This place was a pretty decent find. They are definitely understaffed for wait staff. One person was essentially doing every table in the restaurant. While she was incredibly friendly, the service was very slow. This all compensates by having very very reasonable and great prices. Compared to other places, this was a big win! The tacos were good. The steak fries were fine.

After the Death Valley National park hikes day, this was the restaurant to eat well and eat full. I was hungry as a wolf and was worried I will still be… not after the “Bistec ala mexicana” (grilled chopped steak with onions, tomato and pasillo pepper). The portions were beyond generous, kids even had their halves not finished.

My husband went to your restaurant and ordered food to go for both of us 3/5/26. I got 2 cheese enchilada dinner with green sauce (specified) when i opened the foam container it was full to the top and leaking out green sauce, you couldn't tell what was in it all you could see was green sauce. As I began to pull up a piece of my enchilada to eat I noticed it had red sauce in it. I am very disappointed in the in the quality control that was not there.. I order green sauce because I can't eat the spices that are in the red sauce so my meal got thrown in the trash. This is not the first time finding red sauce in our meals it also happened at the calvada restaurant. We used to go in on calvada at least once a week, we stopped going there several months ago because of the same problem.. we deci
