This place never disappoints. Called in an order to have them ready to take to my dad in the University of Iowa hospital. I had told him that when I pass through Iowa City, I always stop here before my final destination. Always playing some good music in the background, services with a smile, and very affordable.

Such a Lovely Little Gem! We had the Tajadas con Carne Molida, Sweet Plantains with Cream and Beans and the Fried Cassava. Everything was Fresh and So Delicious!

Came for a quick lunch break and the food came out fast, the owner was very sweet, and the food was delicious. It was my first time trying Salvadoran food and won’t be the last. Definitely give it a try!

Very good place to eat papusas. They are made fresh when you order them so they are hot n tasty. I was hungry so I ordered more than what I needed but made some good leftovers

This place is legit, fabulous food, amazing employees, clean. The only reason I gave it a four star is that it is in a strip mall in a suburb so there is no going out vibe, but the food is the real deal. It’s a little expensive, but they have lunch specials for $8.50
