El Cantaro

Classic Mexican food, and all items are vegan. Ordered the Cantaro Burrito and with ‘steak’ and it was very tasty added Guac and was going to add chips but it was $7 extra for the chips so I skipped it. Great vegan stop every time I’m in Monterey.

vegan Mexican is such a rare find. So glad to find this place. Bunch of options including kids menu. Potato tacos were fab. The place was so good we went two days in a row. And yes it’s super close to aquarium

Stopped in for lunch and was really impressed. The food was absolutely delicious, and you’d never know it was vegan, the flavours were spot on and really satisfying. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even nicer. A great place to stop off for a relaxed, tasty lunch. I’d happily come back again.

Great vegan mexican food that I had. How they get the flavors in there is beyond my expectation.

The tacos were incredible (the kind you never want to end!), and the burritos are hearty, delicious, and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff are kind and attentive, making the experience even better.
