Your money goes far here. I grabbed rice and peas, a beef stew, and plantains, and the whole plate was only about $13 plus tax—but the portion was massive. I actually had to tell them to ease up on the rice because they were loading it up that much. The staff is genuinely friendly, and the vibe inside was great. A few booths were taken when I walked in, and everyone looked like they were really enjoying their food. It feels like one of those neighborhood spots where people actually come to sit, eat, and relax—not just grab and go. Definitely coming back to try their Dominican breakfast and the rest of their meat dishes. Highly recommend if you're hungry and want real value for your money.

I recently moved to the neighborhood and was walking by and the smell of the food caught my attention. The cook said they just opened up and walked me through all the items on the menu. I had the dominican oxtail with rice and it was delicious and very reasonably priced! Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely loved this place! The food is authentic and full of flavor, just like homemade Dominican cooking. The lemonade was super refreshing, and the tamarindo juice was perfectly sweet and tangy. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a real taste of the Dominican Republic.
