El Azteca Mexican Restaurant

Large portions sizes at a reasonable price for a mountain town! I got the Pollo Asado Burrito and it was just ok. Chicken was fresh but there were a lot of vegetables in it that weren’t described in the description making it kind of different for a burrito. We also got the grande burrito which was HUGE. Totally worth the extra cost as you will have leftovers with that! Staff were friendly and a decent atmosphere.

Azteca Restaurant was amazing! The food was fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic taste. Great service and a fun atmosphere. We loved everything and will definitely be back when we get in the town.

I was very disappointed with this restraurant. This is 2nd I have eaten here and the 1st was great. This visit was a negative experience. We waited a long time for server who did not come. We waited so long that husband had to look for someone. He found out server sitting a table socializing. She finally brought that were horribly soggy and old. My tacos and refried beans were completely flavorless. However, my husband loved his Chile relleno and our margarita was delicious and relatively cheap. I would return to this restaurant a 3rd time.

Atmosphere & food: fantastic, timely, friendly and authentic! Place is extremely clean and well-taken care of/attention to detail. 1st time here but definitely not the last. Over 10 years in Restaurant/Bar management— means I am probably overly critical in some areas and yet extremely appreciative of all aspects of the business and the challenges involved. Other longtime customers expressed their reasons for returning for years: great food, great staff! They are spot on in their comments.

Everything about this restaurant is fantastic! My family and I were in town for the day and decided to give El Azteca a try, and we were absolutely blown away. They truly deserve 5 out of 5 stars. The food was delicious, the service was top notch and everything was served quickly. As someone who understands the effort it takes to run a family business, I have even more respect for what they’ve built. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
