El Azteca

A Mexican restaurant with the standard variety of Mexican cuisine. Good and prompt service. The food is delicious. If you want to make it spicy, just ask and they will bring you freshly made habanero paste.

El Azteca- Clarksville Neighborhood fixture that has been around for years. If you are looking for filling flavorful standard dishes of Mexican cuisine this would be your place. Prices are reasonable, parking is near the front entrance which faces the main rd. We were there for a Friday late afternoon meal and it was very busy. Staff were trying their best during this time and our food server was polite. Salads were composed of fresh ingredients. It did take awhile before our food was finally brought over but everyone seemed satisfied with their choices. Nothing fancy, the decor has not changed much over the years but they must be doing something right.

Food here is great. I had fajitas and loooooved them. Their refried beans are great and their guac is also good. I would definitely recommend this spot when in the Clarksville area. I also tried their birria quesadilla and liked it a lot.

This is our third visit to El Azteca. We had a great dining experience each time. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food selection is extensive and delicious. With a reservation they easily accommodated our group of eight. Fantastic margarita selection too!
