Customer Reviews
Food is good for the price. Portions are solid and filling. Drinks have good flavor and are strong, though you can tell the alcohol isn’t top shelf. No wait time when we went and the atmosphere is casual. Overall, a decent spot if you want something affordable and low-key.
The food and service was fantastic! Great new restaurant to have in town. I would highly recommend it. The portions are generous and the prices are very good for the amount of food served. I had the horchata to drink and the enchiladas rancheras for my meal. I was impressed with both.
Two visits so far, one lunch and one dinner (after UA/Illinois ballgame). Food is superb. Not the typical Mexican fare in most restaurants here in town. Service is courteous, friendly and professional. Pleasantly surprised at how well trained the staff are considering they had been open one day on our first visit. Decor is well done and tasteful. The only point to mention and this is no fault of the restaurant, is that, like all other restaurants in Midtown, noise carries and it can be pretty loud due to the industrial ceilings. At our visit after the ballgame, there were a couple tables of “exuberant” fans that kept the noise level very high. Again, no fault of the restaurant and certainly will not deter us from continuing to enjoy their food.
Stumbled upon this place trying to decide on a place to eat lunch with my daughters and I am so glad we did! Opened yesterday and it’s delicious! The interior is gorgeous and the staff are friendly and attentive. Getting onto the food, it came out hot and delicious! The lunch prices are amazing for the quality of the dishes. Definitely a must try if you are looking for a great Mexican restaurant in Tuscaloosa!
The service at this Mexican restaurant was excellent and the food is outstanding. My wife had street tacos and absolutely loved them. I opted for the Alambre Fajitas, which were incredibly delicious. The portion size was generous, so I had to order a box to take home. Their queso and salsa were also fantastic. To top it off, we had fried ice cream for dessert, which was the best I’ve ever had in Tuscaloosa. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for great Mexican food. I know my family will be eating there again.
