El Agave

Pretty decent place. I had the seafood nachos and a medium pina colada margarita and both were delicious. The seafood nachos had shrimp, scallops, thick cut mushrooms and squash, all perfectly cooked and seasoned. I had them add sliced avocado as well & think next time I’ll add diced tomatoes to round it out. The pina colada margarita was $10 which I felt was very fair for the size. The mix curdled a little just because coconut & lime just do that, but it didn’t bother me because I knew why. Tasted good! The chips are fresh and made in-house and the salsa was fresh and flavorful and not too spicy. The bill was $30 which is about average I’d say. Friendly staff. Comfortable seating. I’ll definitely be back!

We stopped in for lunch and had a great experience! The chips, dips, margaritas and food were all excellent and great prices too! Great service, I would definitely be here often if I was local

Ooh I love the street tacos here I got one chicken, one carnitas and one steak Very meaty and well balanced ingredient mix That said they were also loaded tacos so the portion size was more than adequate Delicious flavor wise! I love the hot sauce as well A little bit sweet and not too spicy Excellent, friendly service Some big screen tvs if you want to catch the game or some highlights A well stocked bar and overall chillable atmosphere Definitely recommend

I highly recommend El Agave for their food and service. We were seated quickly and were greeted with a smile. The margaritas were delicious as were the chips and salsa. We each had quesadillas (Ranchero me and Fajita style for hubby). We were both very impressed with our dishes…even the rice that I usually don’t eat at other restaurants but theirs was really good! I usually don’t leave reviews but El Agave definitely deserves this one. I hope everyone will support this business so we can visit again next time we are in Highlands.
