This was my first time to Eegee's. I ordered the skinny and my sister ordered the watermelon. Eegees were decent. I like how they have a low sugar one with actual fruit. We also tried the chicken strip and fries. Chicken strips were good. Fries were typical fries, nothing special. Probably will go back for another Eegee.
I came in around 2 p.m. on January 17th, and the boy working at the first window was incredibly kind, patient, and fast. He made sure I got the correct drink flavor and even made some small talk, which I really appreciated. I didn’t catch his name, but he was wearing a blue zip-up. Because of how kind and helpful he was, I’ll definitely be coming back.
I have loved eegees through thick and thin but this was super disappointing. Literally unwrapped this, the soggiest, messiest, saddest glob of a sandwich I have ever seen. The paper was soaked in dressing and literally dripping before I even unwrapped it. Service also sucked. I was cut off before I could even ask for a combo and told to move forward. It was not busy in the slightest and staff felt rushed and generally unhappy. I would have asked for a refund if I had unwrapped my food there instead of at home when it was too late. Super disappointing
Great customer service, but the sandwiches are a flat out downgrade from what they used to be. I ordered an Original Grinder and it came out completely dry, no dressing at all. The dressing is literally part of the original recipe, so not putting it on and then charging extra if you ask for it is wild. For years, you could get the dressing ON the sandwich and order extra on the side if you wanted more. Now they’re not even putting the full amount on in the first place, and acting like the customer should pay to fix it. That isn’t an “upgrade,” it’s cutting corners. The staff was kind, but this policy is a huge miss. If you’re going to change the sandwich, don’t call it “Original” anymore because this isn’t it. Until they bring back the actual recipe and stop nickel-and-diming the ingred
Just an FYI eegees when somone buys tenders, it should come with a condiment, charging .85 cents for ranch after spending $20 and some change on two items goes to show the state of your business model. I will never be back to an eegees over this. The parking lot and drive was completely empty seems like you need all the business you can get. Perhaps dont charge for ranch, or better yet add it to the cost of the actual meals so you dont slap patrons with a fee after they have already paid for food. Good luck to your future as a business.
