Mama's Kitchen

I am a regular there during the season-wonderful people and good, reliable good. I ordered their pancake breakfast and was really looking forward to the fluffy cakes they usually serve. But I got thinner ones, with a vanilla-like flavor and they were gummy and pasty-could not finish them. So disappointing. I did let my waitress know that they were not good at all-she told me things were being changed by the new owner. Please don’t mess with the good dishes that so many of us love.

Slow service. Exceptionally slow. Over an hour for a late lunch. 20 minutes to have our order taken, 25 minutes for food. Small plates, and wayyy overpriced. First time in here and we will not be back. Other restaurants offer more VALUE for the price. If I’m paying $15 for my plate, I should also be taking home a doggie bag. Not eating condiments to fill my belly.

This is a diner type restaurant, nothing fancy, but prices are reasonable and the food is really good. The Taco Salad was really good. The Onion Rings were good as well. The Hamburgers are fantasic and so are the french fries. If you find yourself in Green Valley, this is the place to go for breakfast and / or lonch.

This is truly down home country cooking at its finest. Everyone makes you feel welcome and the food reminds you of home. I loved everything about it. The meatloaf is amazing. I can't wait to have the fish and chips.

Say ... I haven't been here in about a year and I used to love this place but it went completely down hill. The portion size definitely wasn't worth 15.99 and the one waitress wasn't exactly friendly either. Sad to say but I give it 2 stars
