02/03/26 Amber, our waitress, paid attention to detail. She checked in on us often and had a quick chat with us. At the end of the meal, she brought hot lemon scented towels for us to clean our hands. That was a nice touch! Amber’s friendly demeanor made our dining experience here more pleasant! Ordered: -22 oz Ribeye $79- melt in your mouth, so tender! -Lamb Chops $69- yummy delicious! -Burrata & Beet Salad $18- refreshing! -Filet Tartare $26- my husband enjoyed it. -Truffle Mac $19- loved the truffle. -Lobster Bisque $19- creamy delicious, the best I had! -Lobster Tacos $29- tasty lobster. -Au Gratin Potatoes $17- very rich. Drinks: -24 karat $18- pleasant color with appealing presentation. -With Love Eddie $19- citrusy and smooth, served with a sweet note, loved it!
We went for the wife's birthday, and they had a window table for us and a hand written birthday note with sparkles. Food was really good, but service was outstanding, wish I remembered her name. Cocktails were creative and tasty. We had oysters, lobster bisque, seabass, filet mignon and bananas forsters, no complaints. Bananas Forsters recommend. Very satisfied would go back.

What truly elevated the evening, though, was Shannon. She was the very definition of sweet and chivalrous. Graceful in her presence, attentive without hovering, and genuinely kind in a way that can’t be taught. She anticipated needs before they were spoken, carried herself with such poise, and made us feel not just served, but genuinely valued and cared for. Her warmth added a personal touch that transformed dinner into a memorable experience.
My husband and I came to Eddie V’s in La Jolla for dinner on the day we got married, and this place made our night unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond they surprised us with a beautifully decorated table overlooking the ocean at sunset, complete with champagne, rose petals, and a “Congratulations” sign. It felt intimate, thoughtful, and truly special. The food was incredible. We started with the lobster bisque, rich and velvety with the perfect depth of flavor. Our filet mignon was cooked flawlessly tender, juicy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The creamy mashed potatoes were pure comfort and the perfect pairing. I ordered the 22oz ribeye, a house favorite held in the highest regard, accompanied by the crab cake recommended by our server. My husband chose the filet mignon with the truffle macaroni and cheese, indulgent and decadent in the most luxurious way. For cocktails, we selected the Golden Hour and the Smoked Old Fashioned—both executed with a level of craftsmanship that deserves applause.
