East of Maui Coffee

East of Maui is an amazing addition to Gordonsville food scene. The bagel with lox and raspberry Danish latte is my go to meal. The bagel is perfect size. Not too small, not too large. And the raspberry Danish latte is not too sweet, the caramel gives it a slight sweetness. Great food, great atmosphere.

Saw the sign going through the roundabout. I'm a native Hawaiian resident of Maui and decided to drivethrough and check it out. Not sure what the connection is to Maui, but didn't find many uniquely Hawaiian ingredients, but did find many Hawaiian themed names of items. It is an unfortunately common trope, so I was hoping for something authentic but disappointed. Coffee tasted good and staff was friendly and efficient.

We ordered a bagel with butter and 2 drinks. Every part of our order was wrong which we didn’t realize until we were too far away. They forgot the sugar in my tea, the hot chocolate on the other hand was way too sweet. And the bagel came toasted but no butter!

This place is awesome! They have so many flavor options and the staff is exceptional. They’ll even let you in on some of their signature creations ;) my party got frappes and they were amazing!
