East Bay Deli - Broad River

This is frequently my last destination when I am visiting the area. I live in Florida, and my sister is in Chapin. We own my mothers house, nearby. This is a great place for.lunch, gas up next door, and hit the road. I usually grab a couple slices of the delicious cake to take home to my son!

Hannah was the one who waited on my husband and I! So very sweet and polite! I did ask her to make sure I didn’t get the tomatoe on my sandwich! She apologized that I had not gotten the right order last time (she was not the one who helped on previous visit) and she advised if my order is ever not correct to bring it back and we will remake it! So very sweet! And my order was correct! Food here is always very good!!

Had a great experience here Saturday evening. We have a brand new puppy and have been looking for places that have outdoor dining to help with her socialization. Cora was a huge help! She made our salads, checked on us often and even offered a bowl of fresh water for our pup. We will be back!

Cora had great suggestions on menu items! I always stick to the same thing but wanted to try something new and she was able to help me figure out what I might like. The Rajun Cajun was perfect! Thanks Cora for your great service! I will be back:)

The Citadel sandwich is BANGER. I'm still eating this beaut, and god it's so good. If you like a classic sandwich and arent feeling super adventurous, order this! Freaking delicious. Ate the whole thing. Heck yeah. Service was shockingly fast, took care of me in a few minutes despite the huge line of people (that I was traveling with), fresh and timely and delicious. And they asked how it was! The atmosphere gets 5 stars too, perfect place to chill out, not too overwhelming, not stuffy or sketchy, just the perfect diner atmosphere for a nice lunch on the road. I don't leave reviews often, but this place is SO good. I wish I lived closer, I'd come here for every occasion. Get the citadel! With everything on it! Crunchy goodness!
