Very friendly staff and incredible croissant sandwich with bacon egg and cheese! Great flavor in the egg and cheese and amazing texture in the croissant, and he warmed it up for us which was lovely. The opera cake was good but not amazing (light on coffee and almond flavor, a little on the dense side), ditto with the fruit Danish (you could tell it had been refrigerated vs made fresh). Cookies were ok but had an odd texture kind of like they were gluten free. We were very grateful they had decaf coffee with pistachio milk, and the guy working there was so sweet. I'd definitely come back for the breakfast sandwiches!
Impeccable vibe, top tier service, friendliest staff, and most decadent pastries - what more can I ask for?? The backyard patio is such a sanctuary. Highly recommend you try the Steak croissant and fruit danish!! I will be back :)
Nice decoration but that’s about it. I was super excited to try the first vegan French bakery in the city but what a disappointment - even the vegan Whole Foods pastries bit these (by a lot). We came in for brunch at 12 pm and the croissant and cakes were definitely a couple of days old. The croissant was tasty but it was extremely dry (it was a struggle to cut with fork and knife) and cold (the chocolate was solid). The lemon cake was overall not tasty and so sweet that we could not eat more than a couple of bites. The cheesecake had some potential but it was lukewarm and the strawberry jam was most likely store bought. All 3 desserts took over 20 minutes to be served, even though the place was not full and they were not fresh. We had also ordered tea which only arrived as we were wrappin
This patisserie is just amazing! Went there on opening day and although super busy, the service was impeccable! Tried the Chocolatine and the Plain Danish and both were so delicious! Can’t wait to go back and try everything else from the menu! As a bonus, the space is very beautiful
The best vegan French restaurant and bakery in NYC and maybe the world! The food was so fresh, flavorful, and delicious that I couldn't believe it was vegan and I'm not vegan. The guy working at the front is great. He made me the best croissant with eggs, bacon, and cheese that I've ever had. I'd definitely recommend this place to both non-vegans and vegans. I'm definitely going back to try everything!
