Dutch Maid Bakery & Cafe

A must-not-miss bakery in Tracy City! Breakfast and lunch served in quaint cafe setting with bakery adjacent in same building. Bakery sells fresh made in-house breads, cookies, cakes.. you name it! Additionally, you can purchase jams, jellies, sauces and honey from various local vendors.

We are in town to visit local trails, and after a tremendous day, my sweet tooth hit hard. Thankfully, on the way back to our AirBnb, we spotted this local bakery. I was in love the moment I stepped in the door!! The variety is awesome. There is even fresh bread and a specialty German pastry that I must say is out of this world (if you love almond). The prices are decent, the taste of all of the items we took home with us are absolutely amazing! Every cake type sweet we bought has been super moist. Wish I would have gotten some bread to take back to our real home after this trip. I would definitely shop here over and over if I could!

We stopped by Dutch Maid Bakery & Café on our way home from Foster Falls, and it was such a gem! They say it’s the oldest family-owned bakery in Tennessee, and it truly lives up to the legacy. The aroma when you walk in is enough to make you smile, and everything is fresh, delicious, and made with care. Their blueberry jam cake is my personal favorite—moist, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweet. The pistachio bread, sourdough, and cinnamon pull-apart are all must-tries, too! Even my daughter loves their cookies. Hands down, the best bakery I’ve visited in Tennessee. ❤️❤️❤️

Took a chance once and stopped in to ask for directions. That's when I discovered this small hometown bakery hidden in Tracy City. Ever since then, I have stopped every time I go through, and it is always amazing. Friendly people, great pastries, and an overall warm atmosphere when visiting.

It’s so cute and homey here! I feel like I’m at Grandma’s house with an espresso machine. We stopped in for the bakery, and stayed for the lattes, taking some sandwiches to-go. At the bakery, we sampled some of the softest and most luscious moonshine cakes, taking an eggnog loaf home for later. Before making our way through to the cafe, we also picked up khalua cake, 7-layer bar, pecan tasty, muscadine cider. The cafe has a breakfast buffet that was finishing up around the time of our arrival ~11:30 am. We sipped hot and iced coffees and enjoyed the cozy ambiance before deciding to take a couple turkey bacon clubs and Fran’s Famous Chicken Salad to go, all prepared on their freshly baked and sliced bread! The staff is so welcoming, and really make the place feel like home. I’m already plan
