Duplin County Health Department

Last Friday I went to the health department with my son he had a appointment in all the years that I have been going to the health department I always have had the same pediatrician Elizabeth Griffin she is very compassionate caring and worried about her patients and is very concerned and very patient and loving towards her patients last week when I went I was thinking she Elizabeth Griffin was the one that was going to see my son that is his doctor that wasn't the case she is sick and they don't know when she will be back when I got there they have another pediatrician doctor taking her place from the moment she walked in the examining room she had a attitude and started asking my son questions my son never seen her before I have not either just because my son would not respond to her que

Don’t waste your time, go to the one on onslow county instead

Their phone etiquette is very rude and impolite. I called to get some information and a African American older lady answered the phone. As i asked her questions her responses were smart remarked. I did not like her attitude. "WIC department"

Well apparently now u cant choose your provider anymore and you get whoever is available the day of your appointment! Also its very unprofessional when ive been waiting for my appointment and the day of my appointment yall cancel because "the provider is not in" and i have to wait a whole week til the next appointment!!!

DCHD has a well oiled machine at the Event Center. The vaccination process is very organized and everyone is helpful. Great experience.
