Duffy's Deli & Coffee

I'm glad they opened a little bit early , a few days before the grand opening, because we had a great experience there. Met the owner, Delanie and her Aunt Kerry and had a wonderful chat about the history of the place, the effort they put into the renovation of the old First Federal bank, and their family heritage is going back to Queens, New York, and Ireland. I love seeing non-chain, luckily home businesses sitting up shop here. Fantastic! My wife had the breakfast burrito, I had the breakfast sandwich, and they were both very good. I really like the English muffin for the breakfast sandwich. The coffee is roasted locally out of Yamhill county, and was delicious. Duffy’s Deli & Coffee is an instant standout and arguably the best breakfast sandwich in McMinnville. This is a family-run spot by a father and daughter, and you can really feel the care in the food. They’re making their sausages and meatballs in-house, and it shows. I’ve only had the breakfast sandwich so far, but it’s exactly what you want. Everything is balanced, and the house-made aioli ties it all together without being too heavy. What really makes it though is the bread. They’re using Dos Hermanos out of Portland, and that alone takes it to another level. They’re also bringing in local bagels, which is a great touch. You can tell they’re originally from Long Island. Had the breakfast sandwich at Duffy’s Deli and it was delicious! Service was very friendly and welcoming. Great spot to start the day!
