Serendipity Ice Cream

Located in old town McMinville, OR in a historic building. If you don’t mind driving 45 mins south of Portland. Their specialty is Ice cream and as advertised. Had a Pistachio Almond ice cream, nice and creamy not too sweet on a waffle cone…. Highly recommended as they also have seasonal flavors.

I love this place because it's a little like an old-style ice cream parlor. There's also a player piano that works! There are many, delicious flavors, brownies, and other yummy treats!!

Absolutely love this place in town! The service is always so wonderful and the girls (sometimes a boy) that work there, are fabulous. I always get a brownie sundae/"Serendipity Surprise." Those that are curious what I get, here it is (if you want to try for yourself!): - Brownie - 2 Scoops of moose tracks or cookie dough or cookies and cream - 1 Scoop of vanilla - Light fudge - Heavy Caramel (I mean almost drowning) - Medium Peanut Chunks - Light Reese's Peanut Butter Cups - Medium M and M's The two young ladies from 9/5/2024 last night at around 8pm, were wonderful! This sundae typically lasts me 2-3 days! This business is people of colour friendly! Cheers!!!

OMG so charming! This ice cream shop has homemade ice cream, old-style sodas, vintage kinda candies, and more—all wrapped in a warm blanket of old-fashioned style; it looks like an old-timey store. They even have a player piano that plays itself!!! They had some well known hits on the piano while we were waiting for our ice cream, like “Help” by The Beatles and “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks. There’s indoor seating and seating outside on the sidewalk. Don’t miss their “Secret Menu Items.” If you choose to give a thumbs-up 👍🏽 or not, I hope you found my review helpful!

Fantabulous! Multiple dairy free options for those with allergies and TONS of other stuff! Friendly service. Great atmosphere. You'll love it!
