Dragon Palace of Wakefield

This was our first time visiting Dragon Palace. I love Chinese food, but haven't found a local place yet to frequent. I had high expectations. The restaurant was separate from the bar, which we appreciated, as we don't drink and didn't want to listen to the TV. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and prompt. Prices seemed fair and servings were generous. We started off our dinner with won ton soup. My daughter got sushi, and I ordered the cashew chicken (with egg roll). When we sat down we were served some fried Chinese chip things (see pic) with some weirdly sweet sauce. Food review: The won ton soup was delicious. The small serving was a large bowl and contained three nice-sized won tons, along with nice chunks of bok choy and chicken. My d

First time ordering was amazing so I decided to order the same thing again general gaos with chicken fried rice only to get home and have batter and sauce and NO CHICKEN !!! the rice was just fried rice NO CHICKEN I was beyond disappointed.

Chinese food is my favorite, this place wasn't very good. We had orange chicken and sweet and sour chicken and two egg rolls. Some of the chicken didn't even have sauce on it. Kinda dry. The orange chicken had orange peels on them that was not good. Egg rolls had no dipping sauce.

I used to love this place. Today I picked up my take out order of Beef egg rolls and Pork Mei Fun. The beef egg rolls smelt horrible like old oil, supper oily and tasted horrible. The bottom of the take out bag was covered in oil and it got all over the seat of my car

!!ALLERGY ALERT!! Ordered takeout PuPu platter for two and notified worker of shrimp and crab allergy. They substituted the shrimp and crab for more egg rolls and chicken. Received SHRIMP egg rolls. I'm extremely ill from this lack of competence. Really unbelievable. Never happened at any other Chinese restaurant. If I could give Dragon Palace no stars, I would.
