Sugar Loaf Hill B & B

This is the second time the love of my life and I stayed here. I never wanted to leave. The house and the grounds are gorgeous and ooze charm from every angle. The landscaping is beautiful and it feels as if you've stepped into a perfect little slice of heaven. Our hosts made us feel very welcome, and were super friendly and cared about making our stay the best it could be. They struck the perfect balance between letting us have our space and checking in on us to make sure we had what we needed. The room was wonderful, the bed was comfortable, and the views from our windows were of lovely greenery and of a charming rustic barn/shed that I probably could have looked at all day-- like a painting made real. Peaceful, quiet, comfortable. Short walk to Wakefield’s Main Street and restaurants. Friendly staff and excellent and generous breakfast. Feels like home.

We loved our stay at Sugarloaf. Mrs. Stephanie was a wonderful host. The property was beautiful. We stayed in the"cozy suit" and it lived up to its name. The b&b is a short walk from downtown Wakefield with lots of things to do and see.

My wife & I chose Sugar Loaf Hill B&B because of its location. We were interested in local beaches, restaurants and meeting up with old friends. We stayed three nights, and the accommodations were perfect staying in the Cozy Suite. Stephanie & David were excellent host from the moment we arrived until our departure, and the hot home cooked breakfast each morning was fabulous.

Dave and Stephanie run a first class B&B for those of us who would prefer a lovely home, good conversation and a fantastic breakfast to staying in a motel near the highway. Great travelers themselves, after 15 years they have perfected the art of hospitality. I stayed here with a friend for two nights this summer and enjoyed every minute. It's a quick drive to the South Kingston town beach and the quaint town of Wakefield and not far from lots of restaurants and state parks. The house is old and spacious with a fantastic outdoor porch for enjoying the property ringed by 100 year old maple trees. AC and comfortable beds and private bathrooms.
