The Boss Restaurant (Wakefield)

Just enjoyed lunch over at The Boss while getting some work done on my car nearby. A very sweet and patient lady kindly help guide me through what to order, as I had never been and could not decide what to get. I had a Thai Iced Tea flavored bubble tea, chicken ginger soup, and Pad Thai with shrimp - which when I told her I wanted a little spicy she recommended i ordered 1.5 (out of 5 spicy scale). Everything was wonderful, including the service! The restaurant's parking lot/nearby intersection location isn't the quietest, but the staff is friendly, they have a great lunch combination deal, and a handful of tables to dine in.

I've ordered takeout multiple times now from both the Wakefield and Barrington locations. I am a self-proclaimed Thai food snob. The Boss's drunken noodles, fresh rolls, and Tom Ka soup are perfect. The lunch special that allows me to combine all three for less than $20 is even better than perfect.

Delicious selection of foods. Will definitely pass through again to try different selections.

their fresh rolls and spring rolls along with the sauces were perfect!! the hot basil fried rice was also good but pad see ew tasted kinda off. the staff is nice, and the lunch combo is definitely a steal!

If you haven't tried The Boss Thai in Wakefield, definitely give it a shot! It was delicious and reasonably priced! I had their chicken pad thai lunch special with crab rolls and both were so fresh and phenomenal. 10/10! (spice level 2 gave a good mouth feel and flavor) The waitress was so kind and friendly as well and the atmosphere was clean, relaxing and intimate. Will 100% make this a go to spot! Thank you for putting so much into the food you serve - it shows!
