Dragon of Riverside

The calamari is terrible. Excess batter. Dry on the inside. The mouth feel is just completely off with this dish. It also claims to be spicy but is barely so. I ate two pieces and my body rejected the third. Save your money on this dish. The chef needs to rethink this one because that batter just isn't it. Just gross. I also ordered a Pork Egg Foo Young combo with Pork Fried Rice. This was palatable. Certainly not the best asian i've ever had, but it wasn't bad. To round back, that calamari deserves a light and flaky batter, you can keep the seasonings, but make it spicier, and it would have been a hit. Instead it was a bloated dry mess of a miss. So disappointed.

Spent over $140 on take out and the food sucked. Sweet and Sour Sauce tasted like vinegar, Chicken Fried Rice was burnt and floating in oil, Pork Egg Foo Young was a disgrace. Only the Crab Ragoons were good. Have been disappointed the last 3 visits. Will never return or recommend...

Currently still in the restaurant as I type this. It was phenomenal! As soon as me and my mother walked in, it was a surprise with the modern look, but I enjoy it! It’s not an obvious Asian restaurant and I enjoy that. We sat down and instantly got a friendly waiter, Sam. She let us look at the menu before serving us and oh boy, the menu is so simple and easy to navigate! I was able to order Crab Rangoon AND sushi, so I call that a win. Sam accidentally threw chopsticks, but that’s okay, it was very funny to me and I understand the mistake :). Once we got our items, everything was fresh, and hot and the taste was perfect. I never write reviews but I would avoid this place. I just bit into my sushi roll and there was a staple inside. I called and they put the owner on who did not seem to care at all.

UPDATE: We have gone 4 more times since the original post and all 4 times have been consistent and delicious. The only thing that changes everytime I order is what the person who is taking the order considers what the House Sticky Wing Sauce is. I try to order that on the side for dipping. Most times I get something else that I don't know what it is. But otherwise we still love it Honestly. We loved it! The chicken fingers were good, fried rice was on point and the General Tso Chicken was so good, my kids even loved it. The waitress was attentive and personable, even teaching me a few words in Chinese. The experience was great
