Dr. Falafel Shawarma, Salads and More!

Delicious, fresh and flavorful! Dr. Falafel has incredible food. We stopped in here for lunch and we were so pleased with everything we ordered. We just kept saying “yum” while eating. The food is perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The sauces are what makes this place stand out! The tikka masala sauce takes the falafel sandwich to a whole other level. The kibbeh was fantastic and the burekas was amazing as well. The place is clean and welcoming. Both owners were there when we visited and they were so kind and accommodating. We love this spot! It’s a great addition to downtown Westfield.

5/5 Stars – Absolutely the best falafel around! I’ve been craving good falafel for ages, and this place completely blew me away. The falafel pita sandwich is perfection: crispy, flavorful falafel balls packed into the softest, freshest pita bread I’ve had in forever. It doesn’t get soggy or fall apart—everything stays perfectly wrapped and delicious from the first bite to the last. The rice bowls are hands-down the best in the entire area too—generous portions, perfectly seasoned rice, and all the fresh toppings and sauces make it so satisfying. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming every time I go in or order. You can tell they care about the food and the customers. I was visiting Yestercades, and saw Dr Falafel across the street. I popped in and was immediately warmly welcomed. I'm a falafel and gyro fan, but I had never had shwarma. So I ordered the lamb and beef Shwarma with hummus on a Pita. As I waited I was offered a sample of soup, so I tried their bean soup. It was very tasty. Then my packed pita arrived. I only hoped it tasted as good as it looked, it in fact was better​. Not only packed with ingredients, it was packed with deliciousness. Dr. Falafel is a great addition to this, or any neighborhood.

The chicken shawarma sandwich was incredibly fresh and juicy. We also tried the lamb rice platter and loaded fries - everything was packed with flavor and high-quality ingredients. Don't miss the oven-fresh pita and their amazing green sauce.. Overall reasonable prices, friendly and cheerful service, and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We got the chicken shawarma salad bowl. It was filling and fresh. The pita bread and hummus were fresh too. The portion size was good enough for two people
