Downtown Diner

Stopped in without looking at the time, it was 1:30! We were told no worries, come in, join us. Boy are we thankful we did. The service was fantastic, the food was delicious. Thank you 💞 I had the Monty Cristo and the fries are fried in beef talo and were the perfect crispiness!!

Ordered the chicken tenders and fries. Fries were really well seasoned and crispy. The chicken was unoriginal and may have been frozen. It was okay. The normal hamburger was just that. Normal. Nothing about it stood out, wanted a bit more sauce. Restaurant was clean and nice.

A nice place to grab breakfast before leaving Tawas. They had a good selection of typical diner food, and we all really enjoyed our breakfasts. We stopped in with a group of 7, and they nicely accommodated our group with two tables. A fun place for a quick diner breakfast!

Overall place is a nice little breakfast and lunch spot, simple fare made well. My family and I had breakfast here and I feel you get what you pay for, Food was decent and prices weren’t over the top. We will be back

I cant say enough good things about Downtown Diner! The country fried steak and egg breakfast taste like its fresh out of grandmas kitchen. You can tell they use the best ingredients and cook from scratch. The biscuits and gravy were just as satisfying. The servers are super friendly and give great recommendations. The diner is clean and has a cozy vibe to it. Props to the solo cook for always delivering great food without long waits! Highlyy recommend trying them out youll definitely be back!
