Downtown Cafe

11/15/2025: had lunch at Downtown Café with a friend. Melinda waited on us. She was helpful, caring, and made sure we had everything we needed. We were talking too much to want to watch TV but wanted you to know they have TVs in every room. It is a beautiful facility and very clean. We will definitely go again. Hope you will enjoy a few photos with too.

Made reservations and they had a table ready prior to our arrival. Food was tasty, reasonable portions, and friendly service.

Visit about every month or two. All nice ladies servers. Very busy tonight so I had a long wait to be seated. But worth the wait. Was served by sweet Olivia tonight. Couldn't ask for better server. Be back in a few.

Food was overpriced and disappointing. The shrimp in the scampi was small, very overcooked and tough to chew. The Italian stromboli had a good flavor but was more dough than stomboli. They didn't seem very busy, but service was not very good. Food was served barely warm. Had to get extra napkins on my own, as all the staff had temporarily disappeared. Careful with any special requests upon ordering. They may charge extra for substitutions without informing you. Credit card customers are charged extra $$$.

Very good describes most everything we experienced at the Downtown Cafe. The menu has a variety of American, Greek and Italian dishes, but I've had so much success enjoying their stuffed Manicotti I usually stick with that. The atmosphere and service are usually very good and most servers are prompt and efficient. Would recommend a visit.
