An Absolute Gem: Phantom Cabin at Dove's Rest Resort We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Phantom Cabin at Dove's Rest Resort, perfectly situated right near Palo Duro Canyon State Park. We highly recommend this spot—it was an absolute highlight of our trip. From the moment we arrived, the cabin impressed us. It was incredibly spacious yet felt warm and inviting, thanks to the very attractive decor. Everything was very clean and well-appointed, showing off the many thoughtful touches the owners included. We stayed at the Comamche for our 30th anniversary and it was awesome. Clean, private, great kitchen and gas grill. Their communication is seamless and they think of everything . Very short drive to the park. Grocery shop so you never have to leave! The longhorns are visible from the front porch.

An amazing experience from start to finish. We stayed at Goodnight cabin and the views were breathtaking, the cabin was so nice and so cozy, and the hosts were incredible. We set up a grocery service with them and they absolutely nailed it. It’s peaceful, serene, wildlife comes right up to the windows, and it’s fully stocked with everything you could need or want. It’s an easy 12-15 minute drive to the hikes in the park/canyon. We will be back, and for a longer stay next time!

We spent 3 lovely nights at Doves Rest Resort with our two small pups. Our cabin was located on the rim of Palo Duro Canyon. We had two feeders just outside our front door so we got morning and evening visits from mountain sheep, mule deer’s and wild boars 🐗. The view from our cabin was amazing and incredibly peaceful. We grilled out two nights during our stay with a fully stocked kitchen. We enjoyed cocktails on our front porch and adored our beautifully decorated cabin. We hiked around the property and enjoyed all the lawn sculptures and views around the gorgeous area. We thoroughly enjoyed our massages in the tranquil Tepee setting on the property. Unforgettable Family Vacation at Doves Rest Cabins – Santa Fe Cabins Our recent stay at the Santa Fe Cabins at Doves Rest Cabins was absolutely magical. We surprised our kids for their birthdays, and it became the best vacation ever. They kept saying it was the “best ever cabins” and “best ever vacation birthday.” A huge thanks to the amazing team at Doves Rest for making it so special—they decorated the cabin for the celebration and even had gifts for the kids. Seeing their joy was priceless. My wife was blown away by the spotless cabin and thoughtful amenities. Everything was designed with families in mind, making our stay so comfortable.
