Best Thai Restaurant

Not very crowded. Walked in and had seen a girls soup that looked super interesting. That's what i got and LOVED IT! Appetizers, egg rolls and Rangoon's, were hot, fresh, and delicious. food was very savory, excellent portions. but the wanes (?) soup with milk was the star! so different, and savory i loved it. It was our first time visiting, and we will be back.

My daughters and I would eat Asian food all day, every day, if only it were feasible. Best Thai is among our favorites, and while I have reviewed it from a solo visit not long ago, I’ll share what the three of us had today. Youngest Daughter opted for Udon Noodles with Tofu, which is essentially a huge bowl of soups with massive chunks of plant-based protein. The tofu has been lightly fried, and while this is a soup, it was still edible for the most part with chopsticks. Well, until you are left with only the broth! Oldest Daughter chose her favorite, Tom Yum Soup with noodles, chicken, pork, and shrimp. This bowl packed a lot of heat, both temperature and spice, which fit her just fine. Wow. I wish I wasn't visiting so I could have this more often. Some of the Best Thai I've had. Loved the Pad See Ew. Found another reason to come back to Canyon other than family.

In summary: Meh Service was okay, but they weren't super friendly. My massaman curry with tofu wasn't that good. Not spicy at all, and the tofu was almost crispy on the outside (fried, I guess?). Portion was small. The others thought their meals were okay, but not great. The food here wasn't bad, but it isn't a place I'd probably go back to. Our Thai places back in San Antonio are much more flavorful, and most have the option of sweat-inducing spiciness like I prefer.
