Douglas Donuts

Small, clean donut spot. There are a couple seats if you need to sit. The staff is kind and patient. The pastries are always fresh/made daily. They are always soft and delicious when I visit. There's always a good variety to choose from.

I value transparency in pricing. I was charged an extra 30 cent for a donut with no indication on the receipt as to why. The owner asked if I would be ordering a dozen and seemed rather annoyed after I responded that it was my first time here and I would only be ordering 1 donut for myself. I didn’t complain about it in store but I will not be back because of this.

​I’ve watched this shop change hands more often than a set of dice 🎲 at a craps table — every 6-9 months like clockwork — and unfortunately, the quality seems to be heading south with every new owner. I really want a local spot to root for, but right now, I’m worried this shop is on a "sugar crash" it won't recover from. ​I walked in at 8:00 AM this morning (two hours after opening), and the customer service was as stale as the pastries. A proper greeting and a smile go a long way, but the vibe was definitely more "why are you here?" than "welcome." ​As for the food: I shouldn’t have to leave a doughnut shop and head straight to the microwave just to make my breakfast edible. First off, huge shoutout to Chandra – his customer service was absolutely top-notch. From the moment I walked into Douglas Donuts, he made me feel welcome, was super friendly, and really took the time to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. The donuts? Amazing. They taste great, super fresh, light, and perfectly sweet. You can tell they’re made with care, and every bite just hits the spot. The shop itself has a cozy, inviting vibe, but what really makes it stand out is the service. Chandra went above and beyond, and that alone makes me want to come back. If you’re anywhere near this place, do yourself a favor and stop by. Highly recommend!
