Double E Barbecue

My brother told me about this place, saying their ribs are known for being “falling off the bone” tender. I’ve been there for 2 take-out “meat only” orders. Both orders had a slab of ribs, their half & whole chicken halves, and once each fo the pork chops and boudin. And, everything has been fantastic! A total of 3 of us have eaten both orders and have enjoyed the meats from there. The sides look delicious and I’ll eventually try those. I’ll definitely be back soon! And, the two women that have been filling my orders are friendly and helpful!

Excellent Ribs! This is one of the few places that I have experienced that did not disappoint when it comes to ribs. I am so impressed, I am writing this review, which I don’t do very often. The ribs are juicy tender fall-off-the-bone ribs and have great flavor. Our sides were good too - broccoli cheese and rice casserole, baked beans, potato salad, and apple cobbler. This restaurant is located in a Marathon service station. The rating caught my eye and I had to try. We’ve been to most restaurants in this city but never got food from here. We usually go to sit down restaurants. There are a few tables here and we sat and ate here too. The staff is friendly.

Oh how I LOVE their smoked chicken!!!! It is amazing!!! Their sweet potato casserole is one of my favorite sides. I have not tried the ribs yet, but the chicken seasoning puts Colonel Sanders to shame!

It was ok for gas station food, actually my husband was gonna pick up lunch , and said the food looked to be dried out so he just got a pint of pulled pork to go, it was edible 🤷🏼‍♀️

Wanted to try it out since it said Memphis Style but they didn't have nothing. Please put on Google you're closed once you run out and that time may vary. Sincerely A hungry traveler from the M
