Catfish One of McComb

I ordered the oyster poboy, which comes with an 8 inch poboy, fries, and a 16 oz cup of tea. I also ordered two orders of fried dill pickles. My whole order was a little more than $26.00, which is reasonable for the amount of food I received. The food: Their sweet tea is the best thing going at Catfish One. Some of the best I have ever had. Wish I could buy a gallon of it. The oyster poboy had a generous serving of at least a dozen oysters on it, and they were hot, fresh, and nicely fried. Not the best I have ever had (that would be Bears in Covington La) but also not the worst by a long shot. The poboy was dressed with mayo that I requested, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles. This is a very popular place here in McComb. Lots of people love it, it seems. The ladies who worked here were really nice, but I found the food bland and greasy, but with really healthy portions. We ate most of it so it wasn’t bad. It just wasn’t really good.

I got the Lunker box and everything was delicious! Was plenty of food and did I mention it was SO good? Today was my first visit, I’ll definitely be going back to try out their poboys. Definitely would recommend this place!

If I could give a score of 0 I would. I ordered an oyster plate today. The oysters were so small. I asked if they could do anything about my order. One lady said I could get my money back. Then, a man said I couldn’t get my money back. It doesn’t matter about the money. I just wanted you to see what crap I paid for. I don’t know if it’s new management or what, but I remember at one time, the service was better than this. Every Friday I would order anywhere from 2 to 5 plates and a gallon of tea. As of today, I will never place another order at Catfish One of McComb,Ms. This is terrible quality of food and worst customer service. These are terrible people running this place now. Love this place . I'm new to the area and this little place that is always packed looked interesting . We'll they didn't disappoint . Try the seafood platter has everything. Highly recommend
