First time here and I was excited to see Octopus on the menu! I ordered the Pulpo Al Mojo De Ajo Octopus & mushrooms sautéed in garlic & butter and I was assuming it was going to be a whole octopus as pictured on their menu for the grilled version. The octopus items did lack descriptions (diced, whole, etc) so I made that assumption. I did enjoy the dish but I would prefer to have more octopus and maybe in larger sizes too. Now I know not to order this dish and will probably get the grilled version.

We were frequent visitors of Dos Hombres weekly for the past few years, and loved the food. Visited today after the new owners re-did the menu and ordered the same dishes we used to get (chicken and steak fajitas and the chicken taquitos) and went from 5 start meals to 1-2 star meals. Chicken and Steak Fajitas- meat was extremely overly marinated and taste like chorizo, meats were gritty and vegetables barely cooked. The refried beans had cery little texture and were more like a creamed bean than actual beans, and the rice had berely any flavor at all, a little salt helped but not much. Quite different from what they used to be. Would not recommend. Chicken Taquitos- outer tortilla was soggy due to the amount of sauce they put inside, used to be crunchy, crispy, cheesy and be able to dip

Got the carnitas and the octopus both were amazing. The carnitas were super flavorful and tender, and the octopus was cooked perfectly (not easy to find done right). Our server was incredibly attentive even though we didn’t catch her name, and the manager was great as well. Solid food and great service definitely coming back

Apparently they had 2 people working in the restaurant so thet decided to leave the bartender, who could barely keep up with drinks at just the bar, to wait on entire bar area by herself with live music to draw a crowd. Food was dry and tasteless. Except for free bean dip, which was passable despite the distinct burnt taste, but i had to dump out my salsa to have something to serve it into. This restaurant can not handle a rush and couldnt even order a second drinks or desert to save experience because the restaurant was overwhelmed. I know why i haven't been there in year's.

I should have taken a picture. but thanks to the new management this place is no longer a slop and glop establishment. I had the Acapulco burrito and it was delicious. shrimp, chicken, and beef all cooked wonderfully. moist and tender the way meat should be. the queso sauce on the smothered burrito was delicious and even the rice didn't taste like something that had been sitting in a pot for hours like it did before the new management/ownership. dos is back!!
