Dortoni Bakery

When I was a kid, I used to ride my bike to Dortoni’s in Levittown. Yesterday I got off the ferry in Port Jefferson and I was thinking to myself that I have to stop and get something to bring to my relatives and I was so happy to see this delightful bakery. I had no idea that Dortoni expanded all over LI. Delicious cappuccino and tasty treats!

Just purchased bunch of goods pay extra credit charge of almost $3.00(no sign in the store about it) came home to find out that the blueberry turnover was basically empty inside and the dough was stale and dry. This same was with small eclairs. The filling was still moist but the pastry dry and unsuitable for eating.

The one particular woman working was not just indifferent but openly rude, dismissive, and argumentative. She actually refused to serve me and gaslit me as if it was my fault. The other woman who stepped in could not have been more nicer and accommodating. When I stepped outside the store a woman mentioned to me that I was not wrong and she was shocked at the way I was treated and discriminated against by your employee. You all just lost a very loyal and long time customer.

Terrible pastries. They tasted old! Got the magic bar, cream puffs, cheesecake and the carrot cake. The carrot cake was the only OK one out of them all. Won’t be coming back unfortunately
