Customer Reviews
Donte’s always delivers a solid, cheesy, delicious pizza. One of the few places that you don’t need to order extra cheese because they hook it up with a nice, high quality cheese. Also, their sauce is perfect. Nice and sweet. It’s really tough to find a better tasting sauce in Pittsburgh if you prefer a sweet gravy. I appreciate their consistency and friendly staff. Look forward to my next trip!
This is my second favorite pizza shop in all of Pittsburgh. They do have a sweeter sauce, but I love a good sweet sauce. Their lunch specials are such a great deal! I have had the pizza there and taken it to go and both are great! Some pizza places that sell slices the slices just aren't as good, but I really enjoy their slices as well. My only complaint is they have Pepsi instead of Coke.
Got pizza n wings. Both really good. Fast good service. Adding second visit. Wings were ok. Italian hoagie was really bad but not sure why Almost tasted like sour meat. Fries were good
We ordered takeout pizza —the supreme/combo and a chicken bacon ranch. The supreme was loaded with high quality toppings to the point that it required two hands to eat. As someone who lives in the Midwest where CBR was practically invented, the other pizza was good but lacked flavor. A quick drizzle of ranch across it could fix this. It wouldn't stop me from reordering, but I'd recommend a different pizza. Otherwise the dough and crust was delicious, (although a little undercooked from so many toppings but I count that as a good thing).
Great pizza, very friendly staff, and you can play pinball while you wait for your order
