Donnie's Diner

We stayed at a condo in Branson, West and the guard suggested we tried Donnie. I’m sure glad he did, it was delicious! I asked for the original Mexican omelette, instead of the fluffy. It was so good! The hashbrowns were very tasty. Hubby got biscuits and gravy, he said it was really good too. We’ll be back for sure. When we’re over there again.

This is the kind of place that only the locals know about. I had a egg Florentine with grits. It tasted wonderful and was filling. My wife had the chicken fried steak which she said was so tender that even someone with little to no teeth, like myself, could eat. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a good breakfast. I have not tried there lunch yet, but I am sure that it will be just as good. It may be a little drive, since it's in Branson West, but it will be worth your drive. Oh, and BTW, they have room for large groups as well

It was approx 2-3 minutes wait to be seated and drink order was taken after seating. After drinks were delivered our waitress disappeared for a half hour before she took our food order then she never returned. Someone else delivered the food and another person eventually refilled our drinks once after approx. 45 minutes. The whole visit was over an hour long. She never stated her name but she was wearing shorts and had tattoos on her legs. The food was okay and the order was correct. The overall look of the diner was neat and clean however there was only 1 restroom for everyone and there was urine on the toilet and floor.

We found this place that was close enough to our condo on vacation in Branson. The breakfast food was awesome! The sausage patty comes like a smash burger patty. Everything was delicious and our waitress was very nice and attentive. Very reasonable prices. We love it. Seems like a place locals go. We loved it!

This was one of the most inviting diners I have ever been to. Treated each of us (8) as if we belonged. Staff was knowledgeable about the menu, prices, and opinions available. All of the staff had steller attitudes!! The food arrived all together and hot and fresh. All 8 orders were correct and in a very good time. Will gladly be coming back!
