Donna's Family Restaurant

Nice little diner. Friendly servers. I thought time to get takeout order was kinda lengthy, might have been only 1 cook, but food was good. The restaurant sold fried oyster dinner, which I found to be very unique. The restaurant is Huntington, Pa. The same place where Juliana College is located, also Raystown Lake. The area is in Allegheny Mountain region and usually you don't find fried oysters unless you near ocean. First time I've ever seen fried oysters on a menu in a diner that's located in the mountains. They were very good. Lightly breaded, lightly seasoned - very good.

Had stopped at a restaurant here many years ago, nothing really that great. We believe it is under new ownership now. Decided to give it another chance. What a great surprise. My wife has real issues with some foods. She ordered the 1/2 cheesesteak and fries. She was so impressed with it she had to have me taste it. The best I have ever tasted! Fries are fresh cut and very good. Prices are some of the best around. ( Lunch special $ 8.00 ) Service was friendly and took care of every need. We highly recommend it now.

I waited an hour for my food meanwhile 4 other tables who got there after us got their food and 1 of them who had gotten their food had already finished eating an left with more people in their party than we had. We also told the waitress to take the homefries off of our order because we did not want to wait god only knows how long it would take to get them which she did not. Its been almost 20 years since ive been there last. It was a good place back then with good sized portions needless to say my family and I won't be going back. The thing that bothers me the most is the amount of tables that were served before my 8yo daughter and our order was not a difficult one.

Delicious small diner with good food and great fast, friendly service. Very small town diner feel. The food was delicious, especially the home fries. The prices were very good and the restaurant was clean. Real eggs used in the omelettes.

The food was of good quality and quantity. Our waitress was nice and attentive to us.
