The historic details in Gage Mansion are well presented during a stay. The old woodwork throughout the mansion and all the furnishing are well cared for and in good repair. The room in which we stayed balanced historic and modern amenities: old shudders and windows and air conditioning, a big dressing armoire and modern bathroom. Nancy is a wonderful and attentive host and planned tasty breakfasts to meet our dietary needs. We were happy to have access to tea, coffee, and water from the dining room day or night. If our travel itinerary allowed more days for our trip, we would have enjoyed Gage Mansion all the more.

Outstanding stay at Gage Mansion! Went for a girls’ weekend and it was the perfect accommodations for our trip. The mansion was gorgeous, cozy, and pristine. Lovely common areas (living room, dining room) with ornate woodwork and classy decor. Within walking distance of great shops/restaurants and a very reasonable price! Nancy, the owner, was a fantastic and hospitable host. Nancy thought of everything and anything you could possibly need to make your stay a special/relaxing experience. The provided meals were absolutely delicious (egg/potato casserole, homemade blueberry muffins, pumpkin pancakes with maple butter, scrambled eggs/Italian sausage). Gage Mansion has been impressively restored and immaculately maintained. The rooms and furnishings are gorgeous. And Nancy, the innkeeper, will prepare an amazing gourmet breakfast for you. You definitely want to stay here!
