Don Pedro's Mexican Grill

I have to say the town doesn’t have a whole lot going on but this place is good. The chips and salsa were just ok. The shrimp quesadilla I guess you could call it a shrimp fajita because I didn’t get cheese on it ( I’m on a diet ) but it has mad flavor, very juicy shrimp were seasoned and cooked perfectly. Veggies were cooked with just a little snap to them (I love it that way) I also got the shrimp and Spanish rice. Again the shrimp were seasoned and cooked perfectly there was the imitation crab that was awesomely sweet and flavored so well. I didn’t know this dish had a cream cheese sweet type queso on it it was amazing ( I’m glad I didn’t know I would have had them leave it off) I wanted a cup of it to go it was so good. Nice little spot off the beaten path. Well Done Don Pedro’s.

Our sons ordered some chicken dishes and said it tasted like your average Mexican food. My husband and I ordered taco salads. There wasn't enough lettuce or Pico de gallo toppings and the bottom of the taco shell bowls were very soggy.

This place is amazing. I come in here as much as I can. The people and the owner are always very happy kind and cheerful people. Ive been going here for 5 years and still can't get enough. Amazing service, extremely good food, top teir chips and salsa. Just the most amazing Mexican food you could ask for. I cannot recommend more.

Buyer Beware: This was our first time trying this restaurant. We ordered over the phone from the menu that they have on their website. Before tax, the total should have been $38.22. When my boyfriend got there to pick up the order, he was charged $56.36. I called to ask why the order was so much more. I was told that the prices on their website are not accurate and that they could not change it. So, the $18.99 item that my boyfriend ordered was actually a $29.99 item. All of that aside, the steak wasn't cooked properly. We ordered medium rare. It was just over medium. Not a hint of pink in sight. The ground beef in my tamale and enchiladas was very dry, even with the ton of sauce that they covered them in. The only reason for 2 stars is because the shredded chicken in my enchilada was go

Clean restaurant. Very friendly staff. Good margaritas, and most importantly, excellent food. Everything we ate was delicious, including the rice and beans. Shared a pitcher of margaritas and we asked for extra salt, which they actually delivered (which is absolutely different than the norm). Definitely check this place out if you have a chance.
