Don Camaron Seafood Restaurant

It was me and my mom’s first time going there. It was not busy at all for it to be a weekend but I wasn’t bad at it. the staff was friendly and it was very clean. So me and mom got the crab legs that we shared, then she got the fired shrimp and fries and hush puppies which she said was delicious. I had the shrimp sautéed in garlic and butter it had garlic piece on the shrimp which made it even more delicious in my opinion along with fried and corn which was all good. We definitely will be going back soon to try other stuff.

My partner and I moved to the area a few months ago and after trying many Mexican restaurants in the area were incredibly disappointed. We thought we’d never find a good, authentic Mexican favorite restaurant but thankfully we came across Don Camaron. I know it’s a seafood restaurant but to me it’s a fantastic Mexican restaurant as well. This place has great margaritas as well as great authentic Mexican cuisine. As a Mexican this place has my approval! It’s so underrated and I wish more people knew about it! It never disappoints!

We went here for lunch. We both got lunch specials which are very reasonably priced. I think this was a better experience than harbor inn overall. The food is about what you would expect it to be for a lunch special. The mixed potato’s as a side was the standout good item for us. The fish I got was the disappointing part for me. I think it would be worth trying something for dinner but I’m not sure I would return for the lunch specials.

This place is a gem! Excellent prices and the food is delicious. Crab cake, shrimp in coconut sauce, corn, and hush puppies were all great. Service was excellent. I can't wait to come back and try some new things!

Dinner was excellent. Had a shrimp cocktail that was different but very yummy. My husband and I had broiled shrimp and scallops. They were both great. Sides were good. Good service and nice atmosphere. We are not close by, but will make the trip to go back.
