In my opinion, this is the best Japanese restaurant on Oahu. I had lunch boxes during my round at Ewa Beach and then enjoyed dinner after golf. The quality of the sushi and rolls was exceptional, with a wonderful balance of flavors. The restaurant offers stunning views with the ocean on one side and the golf course on the other. The sashimi was remarkably fresh, and the fried dishes—including tonkatsu, menchi katsu, and Korean-style fried chicken—were all delicious. Even the desserts left a lasting impression, particularly the matcha shaved ice and their unique crème brûlée. It was truly a memorable dining experience. As the only Hawaiian branch of an already renowned New York establishment, having access to this caliber of restaurant on both ends of the mainland is truly a privilege fo

Second visit and still amazing!!!! The view is incredible! A bright blue Ocean, a lush green golf course, and even Airplanes flying overhead. Also, The interior is elegant and upscale😍 This time, I tried several appetizers, pork cutlet, and the Nagasaki-style udon. The spicy udon was amazing, and everything we ordered was some of the best food I’ve had in Hawaii. Even the salad was uniquely delicious. I’ll definitely be back!!!

It was the service that made the difference! Our server, Antonio did a fabulous job and provided exemplary service. He was very attentive and available. He was a rockstar! The host, Ian was super helpful and friendly. Finally, meeting the general manager and having a good dialogue in the restaurant was a pleasure. Hoon took the time and effort to ask for feedback from us about our dining experience. The food was delivered on time and was presented well. The quality of the dishes was outstanding. We had the three course meal and had the sweet potato crème brûlée for dessert. Fantastic and kudos to the chefs. We would be back for our next visit.

Came here twice. Once for the dinner buffet and another for dinner to compare. The food was amazing both times. Everything was full of flavor. The sushi was local and fresh. The katsus were crispy and cooked well. The sweet potato creme brulee was unlike anything I've ever had and it was delicious, a must. The service was warm and welcoming too! This place recently underwent a renovation so its modern chic styling is inviting and calming. This is a Michelin recognized restaurant and it does show. Highly recommended.

The presentation of the dishes was beautiful and immediately made me happy even before tasting anything. The appetizer, the fried corn ribs, was something I had never tried before—savory, crispy, and very enjoyable. The miso black cod was excellent; the sweet and delicate kabayaki-style sauce paired perfectly with the tender fish. The sushi set tasted as fresh and authentic as what I’ve had in Japan. The hand roll combo was beautifully presented and made the meal even more enjoyable. For dessert, the sweet potato crème brûlée was rich, smooth, and highlighted the natural sweetness of the sweet potato. Even though this restaurant is located inside a golf course, it’s absolutely worth coming back just for the food alone—even if you’re not playing golf. Highly recommended!
