Dollar General

This DG location is one of the nicest I have been in. Outside was clean. The shelves were stocked and there was no merchandise sitting out in the aisles on carts waiting to be stocked. They had a large selection of refrigerated and frozen items. The store was clean and well organized. I was bragging on the store to an employee named Laney, she said they work hard to keep the store stocked. In Manchester, TN, we have a DG in the Food Lion parking lot and the floors look like they have not been mopped since the store opened. Merchandise is out in the aisles and one time I went in and milk and other refrigerated items were sitting in the middle of the floor. The entire store is in disarray. So, I appreciate a nice, clean, organized and stocked DG.

Great little store in Townsend! Has lots of staple items at a decent and fair price. Helps to have this store here so I don't have to drive all the way to Maryville to get groceries! This is a new store as well. It used to be located next to the Pizza But but they have moved down the road into their new building! Great customer service too! Recommend for getting some quick groceries!

2nd day in a row I tried to come here and they closed early. First day, I arrived at 7:45 pm and they had a sign up: "sorry closed at 4, will re-open at 8 am" and today I arrived at 9 pm when they were supposed to close at 10 pm

This is the third time I have come to the store and it's close 15 or 20 minutes early. Do they not stay open until 10 anymore? The website says 10. It should be Open I can see every now and again, Or if there is an emergency but not every time you come to the store, it closes early.She looked right at me. The clerk did and wouldn't let me in and me 15 minutes left. I just needed a pack of post it notes and she wouldn't let me in. And another couple pulled up and wanted just a jar of Mayonnaise, and she wouldn't open the door either.They really need to get Dependable employees

Traveling through the area and decided to stop for snack and bathroom break. 2 employees outside taking a smoke break which must be usual custom as I've read other reviews. Knowing that the bathrooms might require a key I asked if the bathrooms were available. The response from both women was, one said yes and one said no. I stopped turned around and inquired what? Why? And the hostile employee yelled that it's out of order! So I wouldn't get into a verbal altercation with these women. I told my child let's leave. This is poor representation for a tourist area.
