Dolan's Uyghur Cuisine

One of my favorite spots for a reliable, delicious meal. I’ve been here many times and everything has always been great. The Stir-Fried Naan & Meat is a must-try, and the Garlic Lover’s Cucumber is fresh and flavorful. I always finish with their yogurt dessert — it’s my go-to after every meal and highly recommended. Friendly staff, clean space, and a nice loyalty rewards program.

This restaurant is a fantastic introduction to Uyghur cuisine, even if it’s your first time trying it. The menu has plenty of approachable options, especially the lamb dishes, which are incredibly flavorful without being overwhelming. Everything we ordered was well-seasoned, satisfying, and clearly made with care. Portions are generous and great for sharing. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, making it an easy choice for a relaxed meal with friends or family. Highly recommended if you’re in the area and want something different from the usual.

I love the blend of spices here—you can really taste the influences from both East and West. The Boneless Big Plate Chicken is a must-try; it’s spicy, hearty, and the potatoes are cooked to perfection. For something refreshing, the Herdsman's Delight Yogurt with walnuts and honey is a fantastic way to cool down the palate. It’s wonderful to have such high-quality, Halal-certified Asian fusion in Rowland Heights.

I have wanted to try this place for awhile. Came in on a Friday afternoon and ordered boneless big plate chicken, manta, and a naan. Chicken plate is greasy and not that tasty. The other 2 orders are average. Service is good, and the restaurant is very clean. That said, once is enough for me.

Update as of 11/2025: after our last not so good experience, we’ve finally returned to give another try. Luckily, new management (most likely the chef is new as well) appeared to have taken over. The Samsas were quite tasty with its fluffy crust. The lamb leg oil rice was as good as before and finally, the fried naan gave our taste buds something new to try and it was crunchy and tasty. The service was friendly and the young lady was delightful. This place has now once again became my favorite eatery in Rowland Heights. Original: We’ve been here a few times in the past and have always enjoyed our food. Today, the place looked like it has been remodeled a bit and people are different than before. We ordered our regular big plate chicken and it was quite disappointing. There were a lot of
