First restaurant I’ve ever eaten at in NYC and I must say it was the best experience I could’ve possibly had! I had a breakfast sandwich with a blueberry muffin and hot chocolate. All three were fantastic, it made for the most delicious breakfast I’ve ever had! Service was very friendly as well, couldn’t have asked for anything better! Looking forward for trying more of their menu options while I’m here!
It’s still the hole in the walls that make all the difference in NYC. Love my huge fresh out of the oven guava bun, and an Americano how it should be.
This is the bakery/coffee shop of my dreams!! Great baked goods: CHALLAH! , cookies, scones, muffins, rolls, cakes by the slice. Some specialties of Ecuador, tacos, pernil sandwiches. The shop makes everything, daily, from scratch. Portions are large, prices are very fair and you feel so valued as a customer by the owner. Alejandro. Can you tell I'm a fan? Go and explore!
I’m a huge baked goods connoisseur and I was getting together with some friends with whom I’d already reviewed this month’s Cronut flavor, so I wanted to treat them to something fun and new from somewhere I hadn’t been before. When I saw another reviewer mentioned guava brioche I knew I was willing to go out of my way while walking home to get some. Luckily I got the last two, I think they were around $5 each. The store is small but the gentleman behind the counter was super friendly. The case was full of delicious looking baked goods, so I’ll be going to go back to try something else soon. Not to mention there’s a menu on the wall of other food options and some empanadas. The brioche was delicious! Guava is kind of an uncommon flavor but when I travel in Florida I always look for it in
Delicious, fluffy house-baked cheese pan de yuca — warm and fresh when I came in — plus good coffee. Outrageous enfrijoladas. Amazing addition to the neighborhood, can’t wait to try their other offerings. Update: chicken and beef burritos are also great. Hot chocolate is incredible, cinnamony and warming. Update 2: recently added small fresh homemade Challah bread to the bakery menu — perfect for the neighborhood!
