I’m sharing my honest experience using DistroKid as an independent artist—something I wish I had known before signing up. At first, DistroKid seemed great. Uploading music was easy and distribution was fast. The real problems started when I needed help. Customer service has been extremely slow and unhelpful, and issues that should take days have dragged on for months, especially with YouTube Topic channel problems. On top of that, prices keep increasing while support stays the same. As an independent artist, your music and channels are your business, and delays like this can seriously affect growth and momentum. I have used Distro Kid services for a couple years now and it is very convenient for publishing my music. But they currently refusing my bank card for payment and I cannot speak to anyone in the organization to find out what the problem is. Many many hours of waiting on their customer service portal for no help.

Huge Scam! Do not use this company! Somehow our debit card was linked to a fake account with them and they refuse to fix the problema and refund our money. They only have bots as customer service and trying to get anywhere just goes round and round with no results and just causes a delay. I have mow reported them to the better business bureau as well. Do not use them! The company lies, cheats and steals with no remorse.

Terrible… Terrible distributor. If you want to leave you have to pay for that too!!!! Upload your releases 3 months in advance if you want any shot of your music actually coming out on time… Joke

Distrokid is the best platform for music distribution in my opinion
